I have been using the 5.11 Tactical tdu pants for about 6 months know in the field. These pants are extremely well made. Like the other reviewer said they do fit tightly in the waist even with the elastic waist feature. They have however loosened up just a bit over time making them more comfortable. The material on these pants is a bit on the thicker/ heavier side, however with that they are also rugged, protective and durable. Out of all the other tactical pants I have owned, these are by far my favorite pair to date.

Be very cautious in regards to sizing. I wear a medium regular in most pants and still have plenty of room. I ordered these pants in medium regular and found that they are extremely tight. It would be comparable to a small long. They have elastic on the waistband that expands, but it is still an extremely tight fit, especially around the crotch area. My recommendation is to go with truspec or propper. If you have to order a pair of these, order them a size bigger. They also feel cheaply made for the price. Unfortunately I cannot send them back because I am overseas. But if I were stateside, they would be sent back immediately. Bottom line.....Two thumbs down.
