This is a very nice vest. Generously cut to allow movement and adjustable fot both girth and length. A little stiff when new, but very comfortable overall. The webbing straps go all the way up (well almost all the way). There are no shoulder pads. Instead the top front webbing straps have a leather-like overlayer to prevent a rifle butt from slipping. Unfortunately this makes the straps so thick that it is difficult to attach tight-fitting gear, e.G. Itw grimlocs or web dominators. You can do it, but it takes a lot of fiddling. It would have been better to just have regular webbing straps and make a molle shoulder pad. There’s velcro cleverly integrated on/between straps front and back for name tapes, badges, etc. (It’s clearly geared towards law enforcement with enough velcro on the back for the 4x9” police patches.) There are interior pockets for maps (front) and hydration bladder (back), which I never use. (Interferes with ventilation and hard to get to.) For what it does, it’s an excellent vest. Once tricked out, it’s heavier than a vest with integrated pockets, but I like the customizability. Pros: adjustable. Lots of webbing for mounting stuff and velcro for attaching stuff. Cons: rifle padding on the top makes webbing there too thick for tight molle gear.
