  1. Great Bags 5 Star Review

    Posted by

I wasn`t sure how good these were when I bought my ultra-lite first aid kit by adventure med. It came with it. I`m in the water a lot somewhere around 2-25 hrs at a time when I go snorkling. It is strong it does keep the water and things out. It takes a few seconds to get a seal and easy to open. I add items to my first aid kit like a flint and stel and a pocekct knife. They haven`t tore the bag with all the stuff inside. Also I keep it in my dive bag and anthoer one in the truck. These things are great. You know things it you're truck and divebag do take a beating! Also when snorkling to..When wearing a thigh bag to take it with you. I would recomd these bags. I`ve been using mines for about a year and no problems yet. I also open and close it often too. I hope this review helps you have fun

  2. Alok Saks Rule 5 Star Review

I don't know what the other reviews problem is with the aloksak but these things are awesome. I have been using them for several years and never had one leak. Yes you need to spend more than 1 second making the seal tight. it's easy to know if you go it tight, try to expel air from the bag. If it's tight it wont let the air out. But don't leave too much air in it. These are without a doubt the best thing I have found for watertight, non bulky, cheap and transparent bag. Makes zip locks look stupid. They are also really tough, hard to puncture or tear. They also make an opsak which is oder proof. No more rodents in my backpack! I know several adventure racers that use them as map cases. I guess because they are super light weight. Get these and replace every cheap ziplock baggy you own. You won't be disappointed. Oh and check out the m16 sized bag. Keeps the grit out nicely.

  3. Disapointed! 1 Star Review

I bought these to keep non water friendly items dry in my cargo pockets. I tested them out on a swim at the beach with my wallet and keys with key-fob in one of them before going into the water with more sensitive expensive items. Fortunately it was a sunny warm day and my stuff dried quickly. I thought that perhaps I hadn't sealed it properly, so I tried again, only this time I made a 25 foot jump into the water off the rocks. It failed again. Tested by navy seals?! Hmmm. I tried again with a different sak thinking maybe the first one was faulty. It leaked! I kid you not. All I did was swim on the surface with these things in my cargo pockets. ...They do hold a peanut butter and jelly sandwich quite well though. I obviously do not recommend using this product but this reflects nothing bad on u.S. Cav. One star to aloksak five stars to US Cavalry!
