This is a great pack! Unequaled quality for all that you get for the price! It's excellent for a 3-5 day assult, ruck, or hike. The lumbar is unbelievable. Along with the shoulder straps and support you can have this thing loaded to the t and have rucked or hiked for miles on end and feel only like you've been carrying no more than 5-10 lbs! The amount of equip. It can hold is awsome. It has pleny of m.O.L.L.E. Slides and straps to attach extra gear. If your good enough you can even strap sniper gear to it, even your tool of long range death. Only draw back, i have to agree 100 percent with mr. G.E. Conner sr., The shoulder straps suck if you want to attach your ka-bar or any other survival or fighting knife unless its a folder or about 5inches max! Altogether though it can work with a little elbow grease! Great hydration pack! Can't wait to get the bfm and especially the transformer for light, quick stealth ops! Hoo-rah!!!

I ordered on of these in foliage green to wear with my new abu's. This is on of the best packs i have ever had, enough space, but it's not too huge. Lots of good little convenience type things, but it's not overloaded with gimmicky features. I have usaf and my name tape velcroed to the front. I used one of these in desert 3-color while i was deployed in iraq, they are practically indestructible.
Basically A Good Pack. Except For The Shoulder Straps...

The cargo area itself is great, the waistbelt is fine. The hydration system is great. The only problem is that if you have a chest or shoulders then the top portion of the shoulder straps and all their hangers for quick equipment are at about at the level of the top of you shoulders. Drawing a combat knife at the level of your ear is not suitable, unless you like to have your ear splayed open. G.E.C.
Best Pack Hands Down!!

This is the best pack out there hands down. A little pricey but bombproof. It has the dual asip antennae ports and two cordura loops inside that hold them down closer to the radio(s). Plus pen holders, pockets galore and lotsa molle/pal tabs. I have bought alot of bags but this bag beats them all. Get one. It's worth every dime.
A Perfect Day Pack

This pack is the perfect day pack (for 1-3 days in the field). It holds several mre's, a bandoleer, 100 oz of water using camel backs hydration system, and allows you to add pouches to the exterior. I added pouches to hold various utlities and extra magazines on my pack. If you are going to spend a few days in the field, or even camping/hiking, this pack is excellent.
