are becoming increasingly more sophisticated by using wireless phones
to initiate explosives.
The CTN105B is an RF jammer designed
specifically for the purpose of paralyzing and immobilizing the
2 way full duplex RF links between mobile cellular telephones and
the local cellular cells with which they are communicating when
in use.
The jammer is constructed to jam the
downlink cellular signals which are used in the country where the
jammer has been
designated for use. As a result, all cellular telephones within
the protected area of the activated CTN105B jammer will not be
able to receive or transmit calls.
Cellular telephones outside
the protected area will not be affected.
Key Features
Capable
of jamming up to 250 meters. Actual jamming coverage will vary
from location to location,
depending on the distance of the location from the nearest
cellular towers, as well as the general topography of the
area.
Internal Operator's panel containing
potentiometers, switches and led lights.
Separate potentiometer for each cellular
band, for adjusting the power and range according to requirement.
Equipped with special circuit
protector to ensure no damage is caused to the jammer should the
(optional) external omni
directional antennas not be secured properly. In such
circumstances, the jammer will automatically switch itself off.
The jammer is equipped with high gain
directional antennae (one per cellular band) which are installed
inside the lid
of the case. High gain omni directional antennae
can be supplied as an optional accessory. The case is equipped
with a time
saving relay switch, allowing the Operator to switch
quickly from the directional to the omni directional antennae.
