This pouch is awsome all away around. I just got It and it fits perfect on my blackhawk omega elite vest. It fits nice and tight. The molle straps work perfect as well. Also it has two tabs on the inside that are for holding your bladder upright that is very nice. The pouch has plenty of room and bladder can easily be removed and replaced. I would recommend this to any one for any duty.I almost forgot to mention the molle straps on the outside. Awsome....

It isn't insulated, and was rather uncomfortable while in a humvee. However, this bladder carrier is very nice. It will hold a 3L camel back bladder with no problems. It has a cord loop in the top so the camel back bladder doesn't slide down. I've had mine for about 2 years with out any defects. Like one of the other posters said, it is very large. I just let it run over the bottom om my armor. I highly recommend this item.

Just about right

It is a great product that has the option of free carry or attachment to a MOLLE system. It is a bit large and hangs down past the bottom of my tactical vest so it is sort of uncomfortable to sit down with when it is full but when moving around it is just fine. I would certainly suggest this to you. I got the Multicam version so I don't know about the bladder that comes with it.

This thing is huge. It needs an 8x4 area it attach. I don't know about the IOTV but that more than the IBA has on its back. The bladder the unit comes with is much worse then the issue bladder, only a 2.5L capacity. There is system to hold the bladder up it propitiatory. I use a few inches of 550 cord to hold up my bladder. Go as just a really big bag on your back.

great bang for your buck

Ordered this specifically to attach to a MOLLE vest. The carrier itself is built very well and attaches to the MOLLE vest securely with the included MOLLE straps. The included bladder is decent, not as nice as a Camelbak but since the price point is so low I didn't expect much. It does have a on/off bite valve though and would probably be ok for the casual user. The nice thing is that it is basically a big pouch so you can use any bladder that is similar in size. The other nice thing about it being a pouch style configuration is that it doesn't limit you to only using it for hydration reasons. You could use it as a accesory pouch as well. It comes with a decent set of shoulder straps as well. They detach completely so they don't get in the way if you attach it to MOLLE gear but they also allow it to be used as a stand alone which is a nice bonus. All and all a great value for the price.
