just plain garbage!

ordered this tent for a two day mountain festival. it was just plain crap! both zippers broke within 48 hours. there were just two of us using the tent: my girlfriend and myself, and we barely had room for ourselves and our stuff (which wasn't a lot). the second night we used the tent, it rained really hard. due to the broken zippers on the door and some rips in the fabric that were there when we opened the thing, we had to throw a regular tarp over the whole thing to stay dry. we would have been better off camping with just garbage bags than this crappy tent.

This tent is horrible, no possible way you could 3 people in it. I ordered it thinking it was a deal and I would get good use out of it. NOT SO...the tent polls pierced the sleeves the first time I tried to assemble it. Im not the smallest guy but in no way huge, it barley fit me...when the trip was over I threw it away at the site. Consider this a one use tent.

This tent is total junk.. It is NOT waterproof, in fact, the floor isnt even waterproof. Bought it for kids, waste of money, I should have known. Look at the picture, the rain fly covers the top quarter only, and it isnt watertight either. Cool camo, and nice inside if it doesnt rain a drop. I should have known that a decent tent would never sell for forty bucks... total junk!!! Buy it for your kids if you live in the desert and expect no rain, in that case it could be fun. As far as a real shelter to keep you out of the elements? Total Junk!!!

Looks decent

Haven't tried this product out yet, but opened it up to see the parts and so far there are so many parts. I just hope that it'll be easy to put together. I will keep you posted and let you know how it goes.

Worth having

This is a great light use tent. Takes me all of 5 minutes to put up, by myself. The trick is to epoxy the sleeves on the pole ends. Sadly, not terribly waterproof out of the box, but nothing a little camp-dry can't fix. The zippers are sturdier than you'd think just to look at them, and the floor is very sturdy. The one downside is the crappy stakes that come with it. Pitch 'em and get some decent stakes. This tent is not your friend if you are trying to go ultralight, but for the vast majority of folks, it'll do the job just fine.
