The Sand Storm 8 In. Stinger Composite Toe Boot is a highly breathable, lightweight composite toe boot. It features high abrasion outside mesh that is extremely breathable and open mesh lining that wicks away moisture from the foot. The breathable Ortholite PU footbed will not compress over the life of the boot.

High-abrasion Flesh-Out Cow Suede and high abrasion Mesh upper
1000D Nylon quarter panels are supported with three 1 inch stretch-proof straps for support
ASTM F2413-11 certified non-metallic composite safety toe
Inside mesh drainage ports allow water to escape once it has entered the boot
Drainage ports do not use metal screens typically used in other boots, eliminating the chances of having them rust or fall out
High-abrasion mesh is extremely breathable
Open mesh lining helps wick away moisture from the foot
Non-shine rust-proof lace hardware will not break on the battlefield
550 paracord boot laces
Full length EVA cushion provides athletic shoe comfort
Composite shank gives support under heavy loads

It's a very comfortable yet durable boot, well worth their price. I used them everywhere from mountains, and forest, to rough urban terrain and they have never hurt my feet and there is no sign of damage to the boot. A little spray & a toothbrush will clean them up nicely. I strongly recommend these boots. Also, U.S. Cavelry Got me the boots within a week of my order and I have to give them credit for their rapid response..

Backup boot gets put in the game and performs like a starter

I just recently graduated from the USAF SF Deployed Aircraft Ground Response Element (DAGRE) Qualification Course. The last week of the course consists of a 4 day field training excersise which includes hours of dismounted movements ranging from foot patrols, building raids, and rucking with 55+ pounds through some of the most densely wooded areas I've ever navigated through. I brought the Stingers as a back up boot to my OTB Desert Lite boots which have already proven themselves as an excellent boot for the field. On our second night of the FTX it started raining and my OTB's were soaked. The team got about 5 hours of sleep that night before waking up to another mission. Though the Desert Lite boots do dry off quickly, 5 hours in a cold humid tent just wasn't enough time for them to dry and I wasn't about to wear damp boots with the weather being as cold as it was that week. The backup was now my primary boot. It turns out that we had a longer dismounted movement that night then the night before. I was tempted to go back to my wet OTB's but I decided to give the Stingers a shot. I was so impressed, I went the rest of the FTX without even checking my OTB's to see if they had dried. For the price, I'm not sure these boots can be beaten. Thank you USCAV for offering products the military can depend on. HZ/143

great boot

I have only had these boots about a week and I have been wearing them for 12 hours a day, everyday. They are very comfortable and my feet and back don't have any complaints at the end of the day. I drive and deliver products all day and these boots are great. I have gotten them broken in and look forward to wearing them for a long time.

I have worm and bought several different types and brands of boots over the years, but the Stinger is by far one of the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever worn. Durable, comfortable and at a great price that you can not beat by any other boot making company! Plain an simple best all around boot!

I have two other brands of desert boots and these are superior.Very comfortable, cool, and the toe has plenty of room.Easy to put on and take off.Quality materials and workmanship.Also like the three drainage holes.Price is right.
