Mostly Good...
This Jacket system is pretty good in most cases. Very comfortable and very versatile. Many pockets are a must when you work on the go, and being able to utilize different configurations based on what the weather is like is nice.
However after owning this for over a year I have also found things I either did not like, or thought could be improved. First of all, this jacket is not suitable outerwear for long periods of time outdoors in the clodest winter months. The lack of a kidney cord , and the lack of a rear waist cord results in a lot of heat loss, especially when it is windy. The only other thing I can fault with the jacket is the double zipper. There is a 'trick' to engaging the zippers, when zipping up. Once you get the hang of it it is not horrible, but it could be remedied by a simple redesign.
Just a few negatives to an otherwise stellar performer in my opinion. Keep up the excellent work 5.11, and I will continue to buy your products.

Get the job done
After searching the net for a good tactical coat, I finally found what I was looking. This coat will definitely get the job done.
