Great

Being trained in first aid by the Army and being employed as a field medic, its nice to have something i can keep supplies in for a bad situation without having to dive into my larger and slower to unpack bag on my back. good construction and plenty of room, i probably have stuffed a little too much in there but it still closes and allows me to treat three severe cases without needing to go to another bag. Excellent choice for whenever you need First Aid in a hurry. Its also nice to be able to toss it to another Medic when working on separate cases.

Definitely Worth the Money

I had a tough time finding a pouch that would hold all of my first aid items effectively and securely. This has solved that problem. Plenty of pockets and bungee straps to hold just about anything. Has more than exceeded my expectations.

Like the design

Have not had pouch far afield yet. However, I am impressed with its design: a Velcro-covered MOLLE back panel that attaches to back of main kit. Pouch can be easily removed/re-attached. Pouch is roomy enough for well stocked 1-2 person “Mini Trauma Kit.” Materials and construction seem solid upon inspection. Very pleased. J.B. -- civilian Paramedic/outdoor enthusiast…

Great buy

You get way more product than you pay for with this one. Its well made and works perfect for me. I needed a pouch I could get to when it was back mounted. This did the trick. I did have to mount the molle plate upside down so that I could reach the buckle to rip it off, no biggie. I also like that I can now take my kit off and use it without taking my plates, just in case I or another needs care and I dont have time or the need for my whole rig. The pack is a good size. It allowed me to put my current trauma gear plus add extra. You can never have enough medical gear.

Excellent answer to the blow out kit / gear space problem.

Current doctrine for tactical operations emphasizes having the appropriate trauma gear readily accessible for self-aid and buddy aid instead of simply depending on the unit medic. However, such gear has to compete with extra mags, commo gear, lights, yadda yadda for space on the operator's load bearing gear. Blow out kits often end up relegated to the less accessible areas of gear, hindering self-aid. The rip away pouch is an excellent answer to this problem. By releasing one buckle and yanking, the whole pouch can be removed from the LBV. Yet until released, the pouch is solidly secured. Unzipped, it allows easy access to supplies. Mine is currently stocked with a flat folded cinch-tight trauma dressing, an Oales trauma dressing, a roll of combat gauze, a Halo chest seal, A section of flat pack peel off backing duct tape, a CAT tourniquet, 2 14 gauge IV caths, a NPA and two pairs of exam gloves. A rescue hook is mollied to the outside. The pouch holds this gear like it was made to fit, and the tri-fold design allows easy access to it all The pouch rides at 4 o-clock on my LBV (I'm left handed) and is completely out of the way yet immediately accessible. The pouch itself is solidly made, with no weak points in the stitching or zipper that I've found so far. As stated above, the anchor system keeps it solidly attached until I need it. The 'pull tab' for pulling it clear of the velcro once the buckle is released works perfectly. I rarely give five stars for anything, but I consider this to be an excellent piece of kit, on par with similar setups costing three times as much.
