Not built for the long haul
I purchased these boots approximately four months ago while serving in Iraq. These boots are very comfortable right out of the box, but that is the only positive thing about these boot. These boots will not last an entire year.
Con: Soles started to shred after one week.
Boot strings broke after one month
Eyelet starting to break after two months
Hole worn into the ankle area after 3.5 month

Absolutly amazing. Took 2 days to wear in with normal wear. VERY Light and comfortable. Thank you U.S. Cavalry.

I have these boots on my feet as I type. VERY comfortable out of the box, and require NO break in time. I've kicked in doors with these and ran from my squad leader upon the giant rock gravel of my FOB, and these boots are still in tip top condition and still very comfortable. EXCELLENT buy for the price, I highly reccomend.

I bought some Magnum's and wouldn't wear anything else now. They are extremely comfortable, hard wearing and great value for money - I can highly recommend these

I have been looking for a pair of Desert type boots specifically those that were NOT made in China. I purposely ordered the above boots because the ad on this web site states MADE IN U.S.A.
The first thing I checked when I received these in the mail was country of origin. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when I read Made in China.
These are being returned IMMEDIATELY!

Heaven for your feet
I usually never write a review for anything, but this time I had to. I have been on active duty for over 11 years and have tried more kinds of boots that I can remember. I have been having alot of foot trouble lately, maybe because I'm getting old, anyway after trying almost all the boots out there I decided to give these boots a try, hell for $60.00, I felt that I really didn't have that much to lose. Right out of the box they feel as if you are stepping into a well broken in pair of running shoes. The tempature decrease is remarkable...especially since its getting to be over 120 degrees here. I would say these are the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever worn. I have the D****R FTX boots and love them but they are way to hot for now here. Need a good boot? GET THESE, you'll agree that its the best $60.00 you'll ever spend. I am thinking about ordering a second pair for a back up..
