I was a civilian DoD specialist who served with I MEF, MLG (Forward) in western Iraq 2006/07. I bought my coyote-brown Spec-Ops T.H.E. Pack while I was at Camp Fallujah and I used it almost exclusively during my many helo flights to other sites in Al-Anbar. It is designed right with steel D-rings and quality construction, and it was priced right at about $129. It is now pushing $200. The increased price is the only objection now. Spec-Ops, please reduce the price of this fine pack, but not at the expense of your excellent quality.

T.H.E. Pack delivers.
I got this pack in ACU in NOV 2006 while in Iraq. It still looks new and has no signs of dammage after 10 months of use in country and constant use for training and travel ever since. It holds all my essentials and allows the attachment of additional pouches with the many modular web loops. It is very well made, a lot of double stitching keeps the seems from pulling apart when stuffed full of gear. It has 1 cubic inch less total capacity than the CamelBak BFM and it has duel exit ports on the top for hydration system tubes and radio antenna. It is THE best pack I have owned.

Lots of space! But you pay for it...
This thing is a great buy! It's super tough, and holds pretty much everything. I've stuffed almost seventy-five pounds of gear in there, and it was fairly comfortable. The built in waist strap is a plus. On the negative side, it's rather expensive. Yes, it can hold a lot of stuff, and it's strong. But it's not the most versatile piece of equipment on the market. Yes its molle compatible, but the inside pockets are just that: really big pockets. No compartmentalization is really possible. All in all, T.H.E. Pack is awesome, and I would recommend it to anyone!
