SLIGHTLY WIDER BRIM THAN TYPICAL
I love the boonie hat. Multipurpose use. This appears to be well built. The only issue I have with it is the brim is slightly wider than others, which makes it a bit more droopy in the way it hangs, but this does offer you more protection from the weather. Material does not appear to be as stiff (starchy) as Propper's style.

Great hat, odd sizes
The hat is a very well made product however the sizes seem to be a bit odd. Although I'm a measured size 7-3/8, I initially ordered a size 7-1/2 as that's my size in Propper brand hats. The Tru-Spec hat was too large so I returned it for a 7-3/8 and was shipped a 7-1/4. To my surprise, the 7-1/4 fits perfectly. Hope this helps you in purchasing yours.

Very good quality
Very happy with this hat. It's not too floppy and it fits true to size. Brim has a nice structure to it without it being too inflexible. It's just right. Highly recommended.

While not military, I am real particular about my field hats. As an environmental biologist, we typically work in every habitat across the state of NC, all year-round, regardless of weather conditions. This well-made boonie is a great 3-season hat--I wear it most of spring-summer-fall. The resistant material seems slightly heavier than other boonies I've had but it breathes surprisingly well and the light-ish color doesn't act like a solar panel. I busted it down to 4 stars as the brim could be slightly wider (like the TYPE II hot-weather boonies) but it does have one of the wider brims I've been able to find online or locally. It fits nicely--I got one size larger and after a few wears it conformed to my head and is very comfortable. Water resistance is solid and on par with other boonies of this type.

Multicam does a great job of blending into enviornment, boonie is very comfortable, material is nice, and durable, great buy, and the price is great.
