Most comfortable pack I've worn
As a vet with old back injuries, I needed a really comfortable pack for camping/hiking/travel. This one has most of the features of a high quality technical pack, with the ruggedness and other features of a tactical pack. It has a customizable suspension system featuring torso length adjustment, a minimally padded waist belt which conforms perfectly to the pelvis, and the internal aluminum stays can be shaped to the specific curve of your spine. The bottom also has 1 inch webbing lash points for attaching additional gear. The internal hydration pouch is basically useless due to its placement and lack of bladder hanging options, but the side pockets can each fit a water bottle up to 40 ounces. Overall, I think this is a nearly perfect pack. The internal organization could have been designed better, but I also realize it was designed for commo, not for camping. If the Kelty Raven suspension system and Camelbak BFM organizational system could be hybridized, THAT would be the perfect pack, but this is about as good as it gets!
