Agood product that could be better...
The last hidden tailors I ordered were thicker than my previous orders and the material not as flexible so they tended to tear after a couple of uses. They are so thick that they show through some materials. Plus they are so thick that they wear rapidly where the button goes through due to the force you have to use to pull the belt on and off of the button when putting them on and removing. I liked the old lighter, thinner one better. I think the intention was right, it just didn't pan out. Hope they go back to the old style and material, they lasted longer and were more confortable.

Do not buy this because
My first belt smelled so bad I had to remove it from my home! I contacted US Cav. I was advised to call the man that makes them. They gave me his number and I called him. He explained to me that if there is a bad odor, a step in the manufacturing process was missed. He sent me one that had no smell. After one year this belt now is starting to get soft and you can pull it apart into little pieces. I rarely use it. Something is wrong with this product from this manufacturer. Good luck. Don't wear it (smelly)on a date!

Hidden Tailor = Not so Hidden Scent
The belt works quite well for what it is designed to do and it is very managable for any size waist however the fumes from the rubber really are a cause for concern. It stunk up my whole house when it arrived and the scent transfers over to your hands quite easily. Having known this I refused to wear it to work. I have it airing out outside and I intend on leaving it there for a few days to hopefully rid the smell from an otherwise seemingly practical product.

Good Product, But Fumes?
I just put on my Hidden Tailor for the first time.
It's a good thing I read the previous review, because I was about to call Security to report strange fumes in my room here at the Old Soldiers' Home.
Since I'm just now wearing it for the first time, I doubt I can properly evaluate it.
It feels okay, and it looks like it should work the way it's designed to.
But, yes, there ARE strange fumes given off when donning the Hidden Tailor.

What's That Smell?
I bought a Hidden Tailor belt and love the way it keeps my uniform shirt tucked tightly into my slacks. Even a 12 hour shift of walking, sitting, going up and down stairs is no match for the Hidden Tailor. At the end of my shift, my uniform still looks as good as it did at the beginning.
However, the rubber gives off a very strong and annoying odor. I've tried washing it, but no effect. Even touching the belt transfers the scent to your hands. That is the only drawback to this excellent product.

The last hidden tailors I ordered were thicker than my previous orders. At first I thought this was great, as they tended to tear after a while. But soon I changed my mind. They are so thick that they show through cotton materials such as Docker-Riata types. Plus they are so thick that they wear rapidly where the button goes through due to the force you have to use to pull the belt off of the button when removing.
I liked the old lighter, thinner one better. I think the intention was right, it just didn't pan out.
I will still buy it as there is nothing on the market better, I would just like it out of the old material.
