A good H2O system for multiple applications
Camelback designed this H2O pack as a result of input from wildland firefighting Hotshot crews. The idea was to have
a unit that could be either carried inside or lashed outside to a line pack (hence, the D-rings). For durability, this unit can't be beat. The only thing that stops me from awarding it 5 stars is that it is difficult to secure to suspender-and-belt units that are commonly carried on assignments like perscribed burns, where I only carry my fire shelter and a small belt pack with a few
necessities. Since the HotShot system doesn't come with any way to attach shoulder straps, you need to carry waterbottles in belt pouches or get another H2O system with shoulder straps.
Other than this, this unit is tops!
