Great in a 5.11 Tactical Rush 24 Pack
Picked up the Camelback 100 oz Beast for my 5.11 Tactical Rush 24 Pack. The Longneck was too long but the Beast was just right and fits perfectly. I really like the compact, tough, sturdy construction and how easy it is remove from the pack, refill and slip into the refrigerator to chill overnight. The hydro links are water tight and don't leak even during rough handling. I especially appreciate valve in the base of the bladder that allows bladder removal without having to remove the insulated tube. Went on a geologic field trip with the pack and bladder combo and its performance was stellar! Had several inquiries about the combo and one compliment. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a solid piece of kit that keeps on ticking. As the the logo on the Beast says: Hydrate or Die! Words to live by! Well done Camelback!

I have one padded 3 L and 2 unpadded 3 L MegaBeasts, all with inline filters and color coded tube insulation. I put the beasts in the side pockets of my Elberstock Skycrane II pack. I have not seen any evidence of rubs or weakening after about 2,000 total miles. I just wish that a empty sleeve were sold so my luck does not run out....
