Great Cuffs
These cuffs are great although they don't allow much play as chain cuffs do. They are durable and can with stand the desert wheather. I have bought handcuffs before and many times they failed because of sand getting wegded in the cuff. I haven't had a problem with these ones.

These ASP tactical hinge cuffs are great! never have problems putting them on any subjects I detain.

Hinge Cuffs pros & cons
Hinge cuffs allow more control of a subject, but when apprehending to cuff it can be difficult to apply because you have to work the hand/wrist into the cuff. Regular link/chain cuffs allow you work the cuff into awkward angles especially on large persons and can be used in limited circumstances on ankles or with waist chains etc. It's a fair trade off but one that must be considered carefully in the potential environment your working..ie a prison vs. street use etc.
