  1. Perfect Sheath 5 Star Review

    Posted by

I bought this when i needed a sheath to fit on the shoulder strap of my camalbaks to carry a leatherman wave. The sheath fits the leatherman perfectly and there is enough velcro on the lid to keep it closed even if i were to go jumping out of airplanes. The best part of this sheath is that it's designed to mount to molle, either vertically or horizontally. I've bought a few already and now have one on each one of my camelbaks (3) and one on my molle vest and chest rig. No matter what you're doing you can trust that this sheath will stay put and will hold your knife, leatherman, magazine in place.

  2. Short Comings 3 Star Review

To start, this is a great sheath for knives, offers multitude of mounting options and is compatible with malice clips. On to the cons, and the reason for 3 stars, i have removed part of the grid lock strap that exists in favor of the malice clips, and today removed the anchoring but that's at the top of the sheath, normally one would expect to meet 1-2 rows of bar-tack stitching... But low and behold the grid-lock strap is held in place by some sort of glue or cement as there wasn't a stitch to be had connecting the grid-lock to the actual pouch. I haven't had any spec ops pouches fall apart on me so far but just thought this issue should be addressed to future buyers to have an extra alice or malice clip on hand in case it goes.
