As we go forth in this new year I feel those whom we are fighing against in the war on terror will need to make a statement in a big way, or risk losing their support. They have been hit hard on all fronts and many plots have been foiled. I bet a great many have, we just wasn't told about them and I respect that in order to keep our survelence secerts, hid from the very ones who wish to harm us. As for naming one group I feel it would be hard to do. The best bet would be Muslum's that have been here in the US for a long time. These sleeper cells were sent in years ago, awaiting on the word from the head man to do what they were assigned to do. This is what is scarie, as there could be many of these cells out there and all have a different target to hit. We could see things going up all over and even in places you would not ever expect something to happen. Another group would be maybe the Skin Heads who have the so called Nazi/Hitler desire to bring about one true race. They might even be working in hand with another group. There are a lot of small groups out there , but the feds probably have them under watch and if they were a threat the group would have been brought down a long time ago. The thought of a suit case Nuke is troublesome. This could really hit us hard and hurt a lot of Americans. Also with our borders opened like they are and the fact Mexican troops have been on our soil and even fired on our Border Patrols while providing security for the drug dealers causes a worry. Someone could bring in a bomb all along our borders and we would not know about it until it went off. I question why our borders havn't been given a more tightening approach and our law enforcement given more back up by our military in dealing with the Mexican army? I feel our government is doing a good job in stopping another 9/11, but they can only do so much and sooner or later something will happen, especially when a person or group is determined to carry out their mission. We all had better be alert to things out of the ordinary, especially in small towns or sities. A good question I would like to ask is,"Where would be a good place for someone to hurts us?' However this would not be a good question to have folks talk about as it could give those who wish to harm us some ideas that hadn't thought about. May GOD bless our men and women who are serving to protect our great Nation from those who wish to harm us. May GOD watch over their families here at home who are awaiting their safe return. May GOD bring comfort to the families of our Hero's who have given their lives in order for us to remain safe and free. May GOD bless those who have been wounded and help them to recover from the wounds they have suffered and heal their wounds, hearts and minds! I agree with most of what is said, my take on the situation is that anyone who is against the American foreign and internal terrorism policy is a perspective terrorist.  These are the bleeding heart individuals that might get themselves sucked up in anti American or political groups that have a different agenda.  The white supremacy movement and nation of Islam might feel disenfranchised that America is not currently focused on their racist rhetoric.  While the nation is focused on Islamic terrorist they are focused on manipulating their recruiting propaganda to reach their respective audiences.  There are enough selfish young people that come from broken homes and single parent families that feel America has not done enough for the out there. All military services are not reaching their recruiting goals and the spirit of patriotism is fading away 9/11 seems a long time ago to many people.  The potential terrorist is anyone who does not support American policy or see the good in it.

   As I have read each of the replys I have to admit each and everyone has a valid point. However I must ask this one question,"Do we really know who our enemy is right now in North America?" Yes as I said each of us have given good views and if I was a Security Inspector I would look into each one of your ideas. However I feel we havn't a clue as to who our enemy is right now. If our government knew of any cells do you think they would allow them to remain lose to act? Yes and no. They may know of individuals who are part of different cells and are watching them, trying to gather more info as time goes by. This is good and bad. One it allows us to learn more about the cell and their members and possibly what is going on and is being planned. However what if the feds are watching them and a mix up happens and the next team to keep tabs on them is late for work or a accident happens and the cell members leave and go do their thing. Should we have picked them up as soon as we found out they were part of a cell or wait until Americans are killed? I would watch them closely for a set peroid and no matter what or who, they go down. I feel with the defections we have had from Russia, Iran,Iraq our government knows a lot about who is doing what here. The big issue is our open borders. I feel there has been so many "bad" folks who have come up from south and down from north and have blended into our soceity that no one knows about them and what their orders are. These are our real threat. It could be a young man, young woman  or a young woman with child or a old man and woman. It could even be kids, who have been trained in Syria or Iran and are set to strap bombs to their bodies and become martyers! If we don't get a handle on our borders and soon it will only worsen. You have two men on Capital Hill, Senator Kennedy and Senator McCain. Both long time elected officals. One a coward who allowed a young lady to drown because he thought it would hurt his chances of getting into the White House if it was found out he was driving drunk. It did hurt his bid for the White House, praise GOD, but he has been a thorn in the side of freedom and the right thing to do ever since and still doing it now days. One was a military officer and prisoner of war. You would think he would know better and think it thru before allowing millions of undocumented aliens to remain here without ever knowing who they really are or what they really done. This is a breach of security if I have ever heard of it. If it hadn't been for the Minute Men, we would be worse off more for they stopped a bunch. I think our Border Patrol is doing everything they can, with what they have. The words came out of the Border Patrols Union Presidents mouth, when he said we reported a engagement against Mexican troops who were helping the Drug Cartel move drugs into the States and both our men and the Texas Highway Patrol were fired upon with 50 cal machine guns and automatic small arms. We reported this to the FBI and were told they were told to do nothing about it from higher up. Can you read between the lines as to what is happening here? What is the real reason they want to allow all of these millions of undocumented aliens to be able to stay here? Maybe 10% would vote,90% can't speak or write english. Yes the big farms who hire them to work for two dollars a hour wage, make a lot of money off them, but this can't be the main reason. What is it I ask? Have any of you thought about everything China is doing South of the Border? They sent a Special Forces Team into Peru to train their anti-terroist teams. What happened to our Special Forces? Hugo Chavez is asking China to set up perament bases in his country. Look at the Panama Canal? If we went to war with any of those countries or countries with China ties in the Far East, China could ties us up for a long time by destroying or shutting down the Canal. I feel and it is my own feelings when I say this, but I beleive China has sent South American operatives here to live and wait, to gather intellegence and send it back for use in planning. What better way to see America and check out Hoover Dam and other vital areas when you are allowed into America without being checked out. When the time comes, these individuals will start hurting us from within, while the South American Forces start the push upwards, with China having many Divisons of troops following and leading them. What are we to do when our forces are all over the world playing policeman? Look at the elections in the countries south of us. Many who are now leading and will come to power are Communist and it won't be long before the whole area, including Mexico is under Marxes influnce! What are we going to do? Mr. Hughbank is on point in his article; Policing America’s Streets part III.  It is a commonly known understanding that many terrorist organizations are operating inside our borders and patiently planning their future operations.  Many citizens as well as leaders at all levels of local, state, and federal agencies have either looked the other way or believe that we as a Nation are doing everything possible to identify, prevent, and respond to the terrorist threat.  Simply watch the evening news and there is enough information being broadcasted detailing some of our Nations vulnerabilities, providing the terrorists with too much open source data, and striking fear across the land.  The fight against terrorism is simply not going to disappear and will require the utmost diligence from every citizen, law enforcement agency, and federal agency if we desire to be successful.  Educating our children, family members, law enforcement officials, and civil leaders on the fundamental composition of a terrorist cell as Mr. Hughbank’s article clearly does as well as antiterrorism and counterterrorism measures is the key ingredient for getting everyone involved.  But for that to be successful, society must want to be a part of the fight. Diverting the necessary resources and funding is paramount for our hope of any success; for the terrorist organizations have both unlimited time and financial backing on their side.  How to prevent dissatisfied individuals from joining a terrorist organization, or any extremist group for that matter, when the core values of many families, communities, and society as a whole has deteriorated? Not an easy answer no matter how you look at it and with that being said the future surely has no light at the end of the tunnel.
